In this case a leucistic (white) and a wildtype (brown) Axolotl embryo fused.
Parents of this animal are a wildtype Axolotl (male) and a leucistic / white Axolotl (female).
The Axolotl chimaera with one of its smaller siblings, a leucistic Larva.
The chimaera with two of its siblings, one of them white (leucistic) and one of them brown (wild).
February 2009, about 1 month old.
May 2009, about 4 months old.
June 2009, about 5 Months old. Supposedly more than 2 embryoes have fused since there are more than the two different halfs.
